Renault Sport F1 Team will not replace Fred Vasseur

The Renault Sport F1 Team will not have a new team principal, with some of the remaining members of the outfit sharing the responsibilities, according to Cyril Abiteboul. On Wednesday, it was confirmed that Fred Vasseur would resign from his role as team principal for the Formula 1 Team. Vasseur had a different opinion about the direction the Enstone outfit needed to take, than the senior management figures. At a media event for Renault technical partner Infiniti's engineering academy at Autosport International Show, managing director for Renault F1 Cyril Abiteboul said there will not be a replacement for Vasseur, as he does not think it's a necessity at the moment.
