McLaren announce launch date
McLaren will join Ferrari in taking the covers off their 2017 challenger on February 24. Last season saw a much improved showing from McLaren, who elevated themselves from ninth to sixth in the Constructors' Championhip. It was, however, not what the championship-winning team wants. McLaren are hoping that this season they will close the gap on F1's frontrunners with Racing Director Eric Boullier recently stating that P4 in the championship would be a disappointment. The team will have Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne behind the wheel this season.
