Monaco GP on free-to-air TV for 2017

The Monaco Grand Prix will return to free-to-air television for the first time since 2012 as both Channel 4 and Sky reveal their Formula One schedules for 2017. As part of Channel 4's three-year agreement, which began for the start of the 2016 season, the free-to-air television channel will show ten race weekends live. For their selected ten race weekends, all practice session and the qualifying hour will also be aired live. The rival channels undergo a race selection process prior to the start of each season, something which has taken place since Sky began their Formula One coverage at the start of the 2012 season, originally competing against the BBC.
