Mercedes confirms launch date for W08 Hybrid Formula 1 car
Mercedes will launch its new car for the 2017 Formula 1 season, the W08 Hybrid, at Silverstone on February 23. Mercedes enters the 2017 season looking to defend both its drivers' and constructors' championships from the past three seasons, having enjoyed a dominance over the field rarely seen through F1 history. The German marque is set to face fresh challenges this year with an overhaul of the technical regulations that will produce more radical-looking cars, set to be multiple seconds per lap faster than the 2016 models.
