Pre-season testing in 2017 will 'destroy' F1 drivers

Force India's Sergio Perez believes Formula One drivers will be 'destroyed' after pre-season testing in Barcelona, given the much faster cars – and more physically exhausting – cars coming in next year.  Many expect F1 cars to be going 5-seconds a lap faster with the new regulations, which will feature improved wider tyres, wider cars, and increased downforce levels; many believe the neck will take a fierce beating with the upgraded F1 package. The problem occurred during F1 testing in 2016 – despite many admitting that current F1 cars are barely physically demanding – as Mercedes' perfect reliability meant machine beat man, and the team had to sub in two drivers...
