Williams struggling with grip and traction on 'difficult' Friday

Monaco Grand Prix – Williams were outside the top ten in practice, with the low speed circuit not playing to their car's strengths. Valtteri Bottas finished P11 in FP1, but this was the highest Williams managed all day. Felipe Massa could only get P19 in the same session, but did sit out most of the hour and a half due to crashing at Ste. Devote, damaging the left hand side of the car. Repaired early in FP2, Massa did get back out on track but could only rise to P16 despite the extra track time. Bottas was 0.4 seconds faster in the second practice, but was still only P14.
