Baku circuit ‘will be ready' says Race Director Charlie Whiting

Formula 1 Race Director Charlie Whiting insists the Baku Street Circuit, which plays host to the European Grand Prix this June, will be ready on time for its debut race. Whiting visited the Azerbaijan circuit to inspect its progress as it readies itself for its debut event, and after careful inspection, believes officials are on course to get the track completed ready for Formula 1 to race before teams are scheduled to race there across the weekend of June 17-19. “The Circuit will be ready,” insisted Whiting. “You can see the quality of all the installations wherever you look.
