Norris survives late scare to secure remarkable Australian Grand Prix win
Lando Norris opened his 2025 title campaign with a high-pressure victory ahead of reigning champion Max Verstappen on an unpredictable rain-soaked afternoon at the Australian Grand Prix. The pole-getter survived a battle with teammate Oscar Piastri and a trip through the gravel at Turn 12 to lead the field at the third safety car restart of the afternoon ahead of Verstappen with five laps to go, setting up a high-stakes sprint for victory.
