Piastri explains advantage of two year McLaren deal

Article To news overview © XPBimages Oscar Piastri has explained the reason behind his two-year extension with McLaren, after committing his future with the team on a multi-year deal lasting until the end of 2026. Many of the drivers have signed two-year extensions for when the engine regulation overhaul happens in 2026, including the two Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. Piastri secured his future after just 15 races with McLaren, having also earned his first podium during the Japanese Grand Prix. He now sits ninth in the Drivers' Championship ahead of Lance Stroll and both Alpine drivers, after McLaren improve its fortunes following a number of updates to the MCL60....
