Red Bull offer Perez vow: 'Whatever he needs'

Article To news overview © XPBimages Red Bull Chief Engineer Paul Monaghan has insisted the team will provide Sergio Perez with "whatever he needs" to escape his current struggles. The Mexican's F1 title challenge against teammate Max Verstappen has withered after two disappointing weekends in Monaco and Spain. Perez crashed in Q1 during qualifying around the streets of the principality and was unable to recover to the points after a scrappy race, whilst he failed to reach Q3 at last weekend's Spanish Grand Prix. The Saudi Arabian and Azerbaijan Grands Prix winner could only manage fourth in the race, despite George Russell jumping from 12th to third for Mercedes. The result,...
