Verstappen tight-lipped on Red Bull upgrade hype: 'Marko got excited'

Article To news overview © XPBimages Max Verstappen has played down the significance of Red Bull's rumoured car developments, despite promising comments from Helmut Marko ahead of the Formula 1 weekend. With Ferrari, Mercedes and Aston Martin bringing extensive upgrades over recent races in a bid to catch the championship leaders, Red Bull have mostly resorted to bringing circuit-specific upgrades to events. When discussing the incidents which exposed the underside of Red Bull's floor in Monaco, Red Bull's Motorsport Advisor told OE24 that the team would "try something new" in Barcelona.
