Tost: ‘No chance' of success with ‘two kids' at a team

AlphaTauri team principal Franz Tost has said a blend of youth and experience is crucial in a team, and feels there's 'no chance' of running in the midfield with 'two kids' behind the wheel. The Faenza team earned P6 in the Constructors' Championship with an experienced head in Pierre Gasly, who comfortably out-scored rookie team-mate Yuki Tsunoda on the other side of the garage in 2021. Haas ran with two rookies in the shape of Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin, and team principal Guenther Steiner admitted it was 'like having children' at the team at times in their first year.
