Oscar Piastri Oscar Piastri has moved another step closer to becoming Australia’s next Formula 1 star, earning a promotion as Alpine’s official reserve driver from 2022. Piastri has made a name for himself in recent years, winning the FIA Formula 3 championship last year and leading the 2021 Formula 2 title race with just two events remaining.
