Saudi Arabia Sparks Criticism After Banning Ripped Jeans, Dresses And Shorts For GP

Saudi Arabia has sparked fierce criticism after its motorsports governing body released guidance on what attire is and isn’t suitable for the Kingdom’s inaugural grand prix. As per the circulated guidance, ripped jeans, tank tops and shorts aren’t allowed to be worn by men. As for female fans and members of staff, short dresses, shorts, and bikinis aren’t permissible. Unsurprisingly, news of these restrictions caused uproar on social media, with many fans criticising Formula 1 for racing in a country with such restrictions.
