Binotto moves away from Ferrari pit wall in reshuffle

Ferrari has finished a planned staff reshuffle that will see team principal Mattia Binotto managing races from the garage instead of the pit wall. A new head of strategy is in place in Ravin Jain – a young British engineer who has been promoted from within Ferrari, having been with the team since 2016. The latest staffing changes with the Scuderia have been planned since earlier in the year, with Laurent Mekies becoming racing director from sporting director, Inaki Rueda moving into Mekies' previous role and Jain becoming the new head of strategy in the process.
