Stroll reveals positive Covid-19 test after Eifel GP

Racing Point driver Lance Stroll has revealed that he tested positive for Covid-19 shortly after returning home from the Eifel Grand Prix. He expects to be fit to resume duties at this weekend’s Portuguese Grand Prix having since provided a negative test. Stroll was present at the Nürburgring but fell unwell on Saturday morning. He was replaced at late-notice by Nico Hulkenberg, who went on to finish the race in eighth place after qualifying at the back of the grid.
