Could extended break prolong Ricciardo's career?

Daniel Ricciardo believes the longer than expected break from Formula 1 could help him have a longer career. The season was due to start in March, but the Austrian Grand Prix on July 5 is now the planned opening round of the season. But Ricciardo thinks in the long run this break could give him the chance to extend his Formula 1 career after working on a new training programme with his trainer Michael Italiano in Australia. “We’ve been able to really knuckle down and set up a real training programme that we never really get,” Ricciardo said in an interview on BBC Radio 5 Live. “You get it at the start of the year, but once you get back to Europe and the travelling starts, it’s...
