Sainz: 'A lot of drivers would be on the verge of collapse then'
Carlos Sainz expects that the Formula 1 drivers will have problems with their necks when the season finally starts. The championship will start much later than normal due to the ongoing corona crisis. No race for months Except for the winter tests, the drivers have not been in F1 cars since 1 December last year, when the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was held. The first race is said to be held on July 5 at the Red Bull Ring, which means that the drivers have not driven for five months since the winter tests. While all drivers are training at home to stay in shape for when the season starts, Sainz says no training can prepare them for the demands the F1 cars place on them during the races. Read more...
