Sainz complains again about midfield not being showcased

Carlos Sainz has again voiced his displeasure that a key moment in a midfield battle was not shown on television coverage, with the cameras instead focused on the stale battle for first and second at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The Spaniard knew heading into the race at Yas Marina that he needed to finish inside the top 10 and outperform Pierre Gasly in order to claim sixth place in the drivers’ championship and moniker of ‘best of the rest’ outside of the top three teams.
