Daniel Ricciardo believes Red Bull exit has made him a 'better driver'
Following Daniel Ricciardo's departure from Red Bull at the end of the 2018 season, he believes his time with Renault has made him a "better driver" despite having over 100 less points. It's worth pointing out that Red Bull's machinery is and was more competitive than anything Renault have made in recent years; hence the significant points difference. Ricciardo has scored 38 points this season for the French team in his first season driving the black and yellow car, with the latest four points being scored in Sunday's Mexican Grand Prix, where the Aussie driver finished in P8.
