Confirmed: Nyck de Vries will drive for the Mercedes Formula E team next year

Yesterday's rumours have been confirmed as true. Nyck de Vries will driver for Mercedes in Formula E next season. The 24-year-old Dutchman has driven in the last three seasons of Formula 2 and is currently topping the standing this season after winning three races.  At the unveiling of the Mercedes Formula E car for the 2020 season, the two drivers of the team were finally announced. In addition to Nyck de Vries, former Formula 1 driver Stoffel Vandoorne will take a seat in the fully electric car.
