FIA confirms full 2019/20 Formula E line-up

The FIA has given details of the 12 teams that will be competing in the next season of the ABB FIA Formula E championship, which will make it the biggest grid yet for the all-electric series. The seventh season of the competition will get underway with a doubleheader weekend at Ad Diriyah in Saudi Arabia on November 22/23. It's the first year that Mercedes and Porsche will be taking part as manufacturers. Mercedes is taking over the grid spot occupied last year by their HWA affiliate. Former McLaren Formula 1 star Stoffel Vandoorne, who drove for HWA last season, is expected to be formally named in the driver line-up at a special event at the Frankfurt Motor Show on Wednesday.
