Lewis Hamilton: “We seem to be close to the Ferraris which is good start to the weekend”

Lewis Hamilton admitted free practice at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza on Friday was a ‘bit of a challenge’ after the weather played havoc with proceedings in both sessions. The Mercedes AMG Motorsport driver completed only eleven laps in the morning session and ended fourth fastest but was second fastest in the afternoon when conditions were slightly more favourable, finishing less than a tenth of a second down from pacesetter Charles Leclerc.
