German GP: Track notes, DRS, tyres, stats and more
A number of minor changes have been made at Hockenheim ahead of this year's German Grand Prix. The debris fence on the outside of Turn 1 has been replaced, while the barrier to the left of the track between Turn 11 and Turn 12 has been realigned. A negative kerb has been installed on the right-hand side at the entry to Turn 13, while an additional gate to access the grid has been installed in the vicinity of grid position 12. As was the case at Silverstone, Hockenheim will feature just two DRS zones this year rather than the three seen in 2018, the pit straight DRS zone having been removed.
