Ferrari weaknesses unfixed despite strong Canadian GP

Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto moved to dampen suggestions of a Scuderia revival, despite Sebastian Vettel enjoying an impressive Canadian Grand Prix, in which he was only denied the race victory by a time penalty imposed for an unsafe manoeuvre. Vettel led the vast majority of the race, having taken an excellent pole position the day before, but victory was taken away from him after stewards deemed his action in trying to hold onto his car after getting onto the grass at Turn 4 unsafe.
