Daniel Ricciardo enjoys 'pretty cool' Australian Supercar outing

Daniel Ricciardo got the chance to try out an Australian Supercar on Wednesday morning, on the eve of his home grand prix. The Renault driver sampled Rick Kelly's Castrol Nissan Supercar at Calder Park, highlighting the noise coming from its V8 engine. 'I didn't have ear plugs, I probably should have worn ear plugs,' said the Australian. 'But yeah, the upshift and pulling a [gear]stick feels good. A paddle-[shift] is easy, it's made my life easy as a racecar driver because I can't heel-and-toe. But all that sort of stuff. The vibrations, it all just feels raw.
