Liberty still hoping for new Silverstone deal

Liberty Media is still hoping to reach an agreement with the BRDC over the future of Silverstone as host of the British Grand Prix. Currently, the 2019 event is the final F1 event for Silverstone on its current contract with Formula One and a new deal is yet to be signed. One of the most popular venues on the calendar, the loss of the British Grand Prix from the F1 schedule could represent a huge loss for the sport and Liberty Media.
