There were numerous complaints from drivers and teams last season of the Pirelli tyres that were being used, having blisters and making it a more difficult drive for the drivers.  However, Pirelli have now insisted the blisters are a thing of the past as we prepare for the 2019 season in Formula One. For 2019, there will be thinned rubber on the tyres; with them already being tested at the Yas Marinas Circuit during the end of the season testing, but few conclusions could be made from the testing.
