Ferrari set to sign Wehrlein?

Pascal Wehrlein recently announced he would be splitting from Mercedes after a long time as a Mercedes junior, believing that his career would fare better without the Mercedes backing, and now he could be in line for a shock role with Ferrari. Ferrari are without a test and simulator driver since Daniil Kvyat and Antonio Giovinazzi have secured full time F1 race seats with Toro Rosso and Sauber respectively and the Italian team could turn to former Sauber and Manor driver Wehrlein to take up the role.
