Marko wants ‘fast and reliable engine' from Renault

Helmut Marko was not impressed with Renault after an failure put Daniel Ricciardo out of the Bahrain GP. Red Bull went into the desert race believing that a victory was possible given their long distance pace earlier in the weekend. Their hopes, though, were shattered just two laps in. Ricciardo retired two minutes into the grand prix due to an energy store failure while Max Verstappen suffered a puncture when he ran over Lewis Hamilton's front wing. Marko was not happy.
