Kimi Raikkonen: “Hopefully our car will fit well here”

Kimi Raikkonen is looking for a good result at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend, hopeful that his Scuderia Ferrari SF16-H works well around the 7.004 kilometre circuit. The Finn has four victories at the legendary Belgian circuit, the most recent back in 2009, and Raikkonen admits that he likes to drive around Spa, with its undulations and its atmosphere. “Spa is a special track, similar to Monza in a way, in that it’s completely different from the new circuits,” said Raikkonen. “It has uphills and downhills, and the atmosphere is unique. “I like this place a lot, it gives you good feelings, it has always been safe and it usually brings good racing.
