Renault drivers frustrated to miss out on Q2

Austrian Grand Prix – Renault men Kevin Magnussen & Jolyon Palmer felt they could have extracted a little more time from their cars, having both been eliminated in Q1. Neither Renault driver managed to get through into Q2, something that is becoming familiar to them as 2016 rolls on. However, the late red flag caused by Daniil Kvyat's crash scuppered any possible improvements from Kevin Magnussen & Jolyon Palmer as the British driver explained: “Without the red flag and then the yellows flags, and with a fresh set of tyres, I think we could have had a nibble at Q2 with a perfect lap.
