Chinese Grand Prix – Mercedes will start the Chinese Grand Prix with their cars at either end of the grid, with Nico Rosberg taking pole position ahead of Daniel Ricciardo after ERS problems for Hamilton. Following the very wet third free practice session earlier in the day, qualifying was met damp, overcast and blustery conditions, with most drivers opting to fit the intermediate tyres at the start of the session.
