Rosberg takes fifth consecutive victory in Bahrain

Bahrain Grand Prix – Nico Rosberg claimed his fifth consecutive race win to extend his early championship lead to seventeen points at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir. The Mercedes driver managed to once again out-perform team-mate Lewis Hamilton at the start and take the lead of the race. With Hamilton recovering from contact, Rosberg drove a controlled race to maintain a several second gap to second-placed Kimi Raikkonen. Whilst it was a better start to the race for Mercedes, the start of the race saw another poor getaway for Lewis Hamilton.
