Jacques Villeneuve has urged Formula 1 to restore its credibility and past glory, with the 1997 world champion speaking out against the recent rules changes initially aimed at spicing up the show. Over recent years the rules regarding the sport have been altered almost on a yearly basis, with both the sporting and technical regulations receiving heavy amendments. Most recently qualifying has become the latest aspect of the sport to receive an alteration, resulting in an exceptionally controversial qualifying session for the season opening Australian Grand Prix.
