Early Force India pace encourages Pérez

– Sergio Pérez was left feeling encouraged by Force India's pace at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after an impressive practice performance.Pérez set the third quickest time at the Yas Marina Circuit on Friday, behind only Mercedes drivers Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.Despite suffering late drama when a brake-by-wire issue led to his rear pads catching fire, the Mexican ended the day in a positive mood."Today has been a good start to our race weekend, despite the brake issue we experienced in the evening session," explained Pérez."FP2 was very positive: I felt comfortable in the car from the start and the changes we made worked well."Our long run programme was...
