Japanese Grand Prix – Pirelli will bring their two hardest compounds to the Suzuka race, having used their two softest compounds last time out in Singapore. The Medium & Hard compounds have only made three appearances so far this season as the selected compounds; these compounds were used at the Malaysian, Spanish & British Grands Prix. According to Pirelli, these are the choices due to the fast and tough cornering demands of the Suzuka Circuit. These include the fearsome 130R, named after its radius, which sees the highest continuous G loading of the year on the tyres.
