Singapore Grand Prix – Pirelli's Paul Hembery says that the unique challenges of the Marina Bay Street Circuit means that Friday practice is even more crucial to a driver's weekend than usual. Pirelli have opted to bring their two softest compounds to Singapore, the Supersoft & Soft tyre compounds. This is due to them offering the maximum mechanical grip and a rapid warmup, which Pirelli's Motorsport Director Paul Hembery says are crucial ingredients for success on the undulating street track.
