FIA Driver's Commission suggests driver mentoring for safety

The FIA Driver's Commission has met in Paris to discuss safety in motorsport and have raised the idea of mandatory racing courses for drivers. The most recent meeting of the FIA Driver's Commission was largely focussed on the areas of safety, with one of the main topics of discussion being that of enforcing track limits. The proliferation of run off areas now being paved over, removing former gravel traps, has meant that drivers abuse track limits on a far more regular basis.
