FIA back Pirelli after extensive tyre investigation

Italian Grand Prix – The FIA have released a statement stating its confidence in the thoroughness of the investigation carried out by Pirelli after the tyre failures that marred the Belgian Grand Prix weekend. On Thursday at Monza, Pirelli issued their own statement outlining the processes behind their own investigation. The statement can be read here. Since then, the FIA have come forward to express their confidence in the tyre manufacturer.
