Analysis: Should Formula 1 Have More Tyre Manufacturers?

Sebastian Vettel wasn’t too thrilled with his result last weekend in Belgium. The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps was the host of two tyre blowouts this last race weekend, but Vettel’s cost him a podium. He did not shy away from giving his opinion post race, “Things like that are not allowed to happen…if it happens 200 meters earlier I’m not standing here now I’m doing 300 stuck in Eau Rouge.” He then added, “What’s upsetting is one thing, the result: this is racing, for sure we deserved to finish on the podium.
