Sauber preparing Singapore GP upgrade

Sauber has revealed that it is planning a big upgrade to its Formula 1 car for the Singapore Grand Prix, which should help it capitalise on an engine boost coming after the summer break. The Hinwil-based team is currently seventh in the constructors' championship standings, but has not scored any points since the Monaco Grand Prix in May. It hopes, however, that a switch to Ferrari's upgraded engine for the Belgian Grand Prix should deliver it a good step forward, with the later car tweak hopefully pushing it back to regularly fighting for points as it did at the start of the campaign.
