Fernando Alonso admits ‘This is a test weekend for us'

Fernando Alonso says that he and the team will be treating this weekend as an extended test, while also running some new updates on the MP4/30. Alonso looks set to take a grid penalty, which may extend into a race time penalty, as he is expected to be changing components on his engine which will take him past the permitted maximum for the season. With McLaren's performance also set to be somewhat questionable on a track with long straights making up the first half of the lap, Alonso says he is expecting the weekend to be ‘tough'.
