Ericsson confident he can score points in Spain

Marcus Ericsson is hoping to continue Sauber’s positive start to the year by getting through to Q3 and scoring points at the Spanish Grand Prix. The Swede has got through to the top 10 shoot-out twice so far this season and picked up points in Australia and China. “I think for us the goal is to stay at the level we’ve been the first four races, and that is to be fighting for Q3 and fighting for points,” Ericsson said. “If we can do that or not, we have to wait and see.” “I think as we’ve seen so far this year it’s extremely tight in the midfield with many teams covered in only a couple of tenths.
