Di Grassi throws down the gauntlet – FP3 Report

Lucas di Grassi went fastest in the final practice session to re-inforce his position as the man to beat this weekend. With some of the cars taking a beating in the first two sessions, it was a rush for a couple of teams to ready themselves for free practice three, a session where teams were expected to attempt fast qualifying runs. E.dams-Renault were once again first to emerge from the pits. It was e.dams’ Nico Prost lead the early exchanges with a 57.637, just ahead of Amlin Aguri’s Antonio Felix da Costa, Venturi’s Stephane Sarrazin, Sam Bird (Virgin Racing) and Jerome D’Ambrosio (Dragon Racing).
