Hamilton comfortably quickest despite spin
CLICK HERE for full FP3 times. Lewis Hamilton was comfortably fastest in final practice for the Russian Grand Prix despite a spin which ended his running early. Having already posted an impressive 1:38.726, Hamilton was on his second flying lap on soft tyres when his Mercedes snapped away from him approaching the penultimate corner, leading him to spin sideways off the track. Having ruined his tyres in the incident, Hamilton limped in to the pit lane and didn't re-emerge, but his time was not bettered. Nico Rosberg was predictably second quickest but the best part of 0.3s slower than his team-mate, and he had Valtteri Bottas for close company with the Williams only 0.081s further adrift of...
