Canada chasing long-term contract

Canadian Grand Prix promoter Francois Dumontier has revealed that he is eager to sign a long-term contract with Bernie Ecclestone. The Montreal circuit's current contract runs out at the end of 2014 but talks are already underway to secure the races future. Dumontier recently met with F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone and Quebec Premier Pauline Marois to discuss the new deal. He told N: 'We are presently discussing an extension from 2015 to 2024, so ten years,' 'That is the longest agreement that has ever been proposed to us. We had five years with options before.
