Horner receives OBE for services to motorsport
Christian Horner has been awarded an OBE for services to motorsport in the Queen's Birthday Honours list. Red Bull's team principal is recognised after guiding the team to three consecutive world championship doubles, as well as for his earlier work in junior categories with the Arden team. He becomes the second Red Bull team member to be recognised after Adrian Newey also received an OBE at the start of last year. Horner admitted that he was "shocked" at the recognition and that he was "hugely honoured" to receive it. "It's all a bit unexpected," Horner said.
