F1 2013 – Martin Whitmarsh not in favour of 21 races
Martin Whitmarsh has declared a 21 race season would be “tough” on teams and announced he is not in favour of a 21 race calendar.With the possibility of a race in Russia and another in New Jersey during 2014, that would take the calendar to 21 races.Speaking to N, Whitmarsh said 'I don't know whether there really will be 21, but I've heard the stories of a variety of new venues, from Russia to talk of New Jersey again,''Well they're both important territories, aren't they, but whether all the other dates on the calendar survive, I don't know.
