Qualifying analysis: Mercedes on the double

Another qualifying, another Mercedes pole. Judging by the last three races, we can expect to see the Silver Arrows drop off the pace as the race wears on, yet Monaco may just be the scene for the monkey to be shaken off the three-pointed star's back. As per Spain, it largely depends on the rear tyre wear that the W04 suffers, but qualifying was a masterclass of how to clean-sweep the front row in Monaco. Indeed, it wasn't until the final session that Rosberg and Hamilton really came to life.
